Unpaid Leave

The LWOP - Leave without Pay Leave element allows you to record periods of unpaid for a person. 
Employee's can request Leave Without Pay by submitting a Leave Request using the iPayroll Employee Kiosk.
A paymaster can record the leave using a Leave Request.
The Holidays Act states that extended periods of Unpaid Leave (of more than one week) can be used to change the date of the next leave anniversary for an employee.  If this is what you and your employee have agreed, please contact our helpdesk for assistance.

When recording Leave Without Pay, you may also have to adjust the number of days paid in period.

As a Paymaster  - recording unpaid leave 

  1. In the People menu
  2. Select > Leave Request
  3. Select > Employee's name
  4. Select > Leave Type > LWOP 
  5. Select > First day of leave 
  6. Select > Last day of leave 
  7. Enter a reason > (not a required field, but may be helpful)
  8. Hours > number of hours of leave
  9. Approve
  10. Save
