Replacing Pay Elements on a Timesheet Template
You need to review the Pay Elements that are on your employee's Timesheet Template. If the leave entitlements have changed either due to a change to their employment agreement or a legislative change (i.e. the recent change to the sick leave) you may to edit or remove the Pay Element.
Replacing Sick Entitlements on Timesheet Templates
In iPayroll
- People > View People > select the employee > select Timesheet Template
- Click on current Sick Entitlement displayed in template
- Check template for any Override Start Dates > Highlight date > Right click to copy
- Scroll down > Select Remove
- Enter 0 in the Qty box > select SICK-ENT or your New Special Pay Element from drop down > Add
- Click on SICK-ENT displayed in template
- Right click to Paste Override Start Date
- Save
Check you have replaced all your Pay Elements
- Review your Timesheet Templates
- Reports > HR > Timesheet Templates > tick Show Leave Entitlements > Go
- Download to excel or Print
Expire the old Pay Element
- Setup > Pay Elements > Entitlements Only
- Select the Pay Element
- Add PRE 24/07/2021 to the description
- Select > Expire
