General Ledger Postings
Using Cost Centres or Chart of Account Codes allows you to track and report payroll costs. The optional Costing feature also allows the transfer of journals to accounting programs.
After you set up Cost Centres you will need to enter the GL Accounts.
Pay Elements can be linked to Cost Centres.
To review the GL Interface
Go to Reports > Financial > select General Ledger Postings
Select > GL Interface File Download
Create GL Interface File > select File Format from drop down
Select > Create GL File
Select > Download file
Upload file to your Accounting program
