Employment Leave Act 2026
Royal Assent was received 06 August 2026, so the Employment Leave Act 2026 will replace the Holidays Act 2003 in August 2028.
From August 2028 the new Employment Leave Act will come into effect. Until that time all current calculations will continue as per the existing legislation. More information will be provided to you, our valued customers, as we move towards the effective transition date.
In the meantime, iPayroll Product, Technology and Support teams are actively tracking and building the changes required by the new legislation and we will be advising what this will mean for you, your employees and iPayroll as they unfold.
