The iPayroll interface with Xero is really easy to set up.
- In iPayroll go to the 'Setup' menu then 'Interfaces' and connect iPayroll to Xero.
- You then add all the payroll chart of account codes from Xero to iPayroll under 'Costing/GL, when adding these you can also add tracking categories. (you can also upload all of these via spreadsheet upload on this screen)
- You then attach a Cost Centre to each persons 'Personal Details' under the 'People' menu, 'View People'. If you need to split the cost over several Cost Centre's, you do this on the 'Timesheet Template'.
