What are Divisors?
A Pay Rate Divisor is selected for a Pay Rate on a persons 'Personal Details' and is used to pay a person a set number of days pay each year for their annual wage amount.
A divisor is sometimes required in payroll systems for calculating the hourly rate from an annual salary amount which takes account of leap years and/or working day cycles. The higher the divisor the lower will be the weekly wage.
