A number of documents need to be collected when employing a new person, for example, a signed employment agreement.
A paymaster can upload documents into iPayroll for that person, so you can access their specific documentation.

Upload a document for a person
- Go to People > View People and select the person you want to upload documents for.
- Under the Personal Details sub-menu, select Documents.
The Documents page is displayed.
- Select Choose File.
The Open window is displayed.
- Browse to the location of the file you want to upload.
- Select the file and select Open.
- In the Title field, type the name of the document.
- If required, in the Description field, type a description for the document.
- Select Upload.
The document is uploaded.
When you need to access a document, you can download it.
- Go to People > View People and select the person you want to upload documents for.
- Under the Personal Details sub-menu, select Documents.
The Documents page is displayed.
- Select the hyperlink in the Title of the document you want to access.
The document is downloaded.
- Select the downloaded document to open it.
- Go to People > View People and select the person you want to upload documents for.
- Under the Personal Details sub-menu, select Documents.
The Documents page is displayed.
- In the Uploaded Documents pane, select the Closed Folder icon for the document you want to archive.
The Confirm Archive message displays.
- Select Archive.
The document is archived.
Reinstate an archived document
- Go to People > View People and select the person you want to upload documents for.
- Under the Personal Details sub-menu, select Documents.
The Documents page is displayed.
- In the Uploaded Documents pane, select Archived Files from the Filter by dropdown list.
- Select the Open Folder icon for the document you want to reinstate.
The Confirm Reinstate message is displayed.
- Select Reinstate.
The document is reinstated.
- Go to People > View People and select the person you want to upload documents for.
- Under the Personal Details sub-menu, select Documents.
The Documents page is displayed.
- In the Uploaded Documents pane, select Archived Files from the Filter by dropdown list.
- Select the Bin icon for the document you want to delete.
The Confirm Delete message is displayed.
- Select Delete.
The document is removed.
